What do you think? Winter wheat fungicide survey
Farming Online and DuPont have worked together to develop a survey on cereal SDHI fungicides, to gauge use and value of the products from users.
This new generation of fungicides has been used increasingly widely in recent years, as a reaction to increasing disease pressure.
The survey should only take five minutes to complete, and the first 200 farmers and advisors to take part will receive a free DuPont torch.
Mike Ashworth, product manager at DuPont, said, “We are delighted to receive feedback into how new generation SDHIs are being used and the value users are getting from our products.
“As well as getting their hands on one of the torches, by filling in the survey, participants will be helping us progress our work, enabling us to create further products for the future that meet their requirements.”
Farming Online Director Peter Griffith added, “This quick survey on your thoughts on fungicide use and timing in winter wheat could net you a rather snazzy torch. But more importantly it will also allow us to collate the data and let you know how others are approaching this topic.
“This year wheat crops are already harbouring low levels of brown and yellow rust and Septoria levels are reported as high in early sown crops. Getting feedback on how others approach disease control in wheat this year will give you a valuable insight into managing the crop.”
