UK cereals industry to be represented in Paris

BCE, the export arm of HGCA, will be representing the UK cereals industry at the European Commodities Exchange in Paris, on Friday 11th October. The European market has taken, on average, 89% of exports over the past five years, making it hugely important to the industry. The exhibition will raise the profile of BCE and also provide an occasion to discuss opportunities for ukp and uks wheat and other cereals.

The European Commodities Exchange is the annual exhibition and networking event for the grain trade, providing face to face opportunities with all interested in the grain chain. The event is the largest European gathering of professionals in the grain sector, expecting to attract 3,000 visitors from 48 countries in Europe and beyond.

Dorit Cohen, Senior Marketing Executive at BCE said: “The European Bourse is a key event for us post-harvest. It is an important opportunity to gather information on the European harvest and buyers’ intentions for the coming season. Maintaining relationships and keeping abreast of overseas market conditions is vital to securing long term exports to European markets.”

The event will be held at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. BCE will be located on Stand 102. For further information on this event please visit www.ece-paris2013.eu/site/GB
