Lord de Mauley to speaker at Agribusiness 2014
Environment Minister Lord de Mauley has been added to the list of speakers for Agribusiness 2014, AIC’s annual conference which will take place at the East of England Showground on November 13th. Expanding on the conference theme of ‘Setting the Agribusiness Agenda’, Lord de Mauley will speak on the topic of ‘The agricultural agenda and its impact on the agrisupply industry’.
AIC Chief Operating Officer John Kelley said: “We are delighted to confirm that Lord de Mauley will be speaking at the conference. He completes an excellent line-up of speakers for the event, which will be chaired by BBC Countryfile Presenter Tom Heap.”
The conference has now become established as the agrisupply industry’s premier event. This year it will cover a wide range of important topics including the economy, the Government’s recently-announced Agri-Tech strategy, and the current state of UK biodiversity.
Other speakers include Ed Garner of Kantar Worldpanel, Mark Berrisford-Smith of HSBC, Professor Chris Pollock from Aberystwyth University, Jon Ferris from The Energy Information Centre, and Andrew Clements of the British Trust for Ornithology.
