Bobcat has announced the appointment of Liverpool-based Huskisson Ltd as the company’s new Authorised Dealer for Merseyside, Cheshire and Greater Manchester in North West England, Clwyd in North Wales and the Isle of Man. Huskisson has replaced the previous dealer for this area, Norwest Plant Ltd, with immediate effect.
Andrew Wolton, District Manager for Bobcat EMEA, comments: “We believe the appointment of Huskisson as the new local Authorised Bobcat Dealer will be very positive for our customers in the North West and North Wales. The extensive experience with Bobcat equipment at Huskisson, combined with their dedication to offering exceptional customer service, will allow them to deliver even greater value for Bobcat customers.”
Huskisson Dealer Principal, Dave Parr, says: “We are delighted to be appointed as the new Authorised Bobcat Dealer for North West England and North Wales. As a company, we have had well over 40 years of success with the Bobcat brand, with our first dealership dating back to 1981. We are enjoying selling an expanded range of equipment at Bobcat, where the world famous compact equipment, excavators, telehandlers and attachments, light compaction and ground maintenance products are complemented by the sister Dealer Network offering forklifts and warehouse equipment and portable power.”
Huskisson is strategically located in an area which is accessible to a range of motorways and this is important for the company’s daily activities which include customer site deliveries and service support throughout the North West region. The company is also located near the increasingly busy port of Liverpool.
Dave Parr continues: “This will be a very exciting time going forward for industries in the North West and North Wales. The docklands area of Liverpool continues to be regenerated by its owner, Peel Ports Group and Manchester has always been very busy with new developments and expanding businesses. We also have a strong customer base in North Wales, where there are many opportunities especially in the agricultural sector. And in all these areas, we continue to manage existing contracts and bid for new ones with the local councils in our region.”
Top-Tier Support for All Current and Future Bobcat Customers
Huskisson’s appointment as the local Authorised Bobcat Dealer has been accompanied by the addition of new staff with vast Bobcat knowledge and expertise. This will ensure that Huskisson continues to offer top-tier parts and service support for existing Bobcat owners, maintaining the high standards which Bobcat customers expect.
To meet the needs of existing and new customers in its area, Huskisson has also taken delivery of a substantial initial order for parts for the Bobcat range. The company is committed to ensuring high stock levels in both parts and machines for customers in its area and, as a matter of course, Huskisson has updated the livery on all of the company’s service vehicles. Customers benefit from Huskisson’s on-site service network, covering everything from emergency repairs to routine maintenance. The dedicated service team at Huskisson will provide comprehensive support, ensuring that Bobcat machinery operates at peak performance. Customers can expect prompt and reliable service, from routine maintenance to urgent repairs.
Huskisson is also an active player in the rental sector for compact equipment in the North West and North Wales, having built up an excellent customer base in this market and will continue to satisfy hire customer demand with a fleet that will include several new Bobcat products. Dave Parr adds: “We provide new machinery for sale and rental, alongside fully-serviced pre-owned units and a full servicing and parts business, with our unrivalled customer service backed by accreditation to the Industry Standard ISO 9001.”
