Milk Link awards success at Royal Bath and West Show
Prizes include nine Gold, six Silver and ten Bronze awards
Milk Link cheese makers excelled by winning 25 awards for their cheeses at the Royal Bath and West Show.
Milk Link’s Devon-based Taw Valley Creamery bagged five Gold awards for its mild, mature and organic cheddars as well as its Double Gloucester cheese. The Creamery’s mature cheddar won Bronze in the prestigious Danisco Grand Prix category. Gold awards were also awarded to Reece’s Creamery in Cheshire for its Red Leicester cheese, Lockerbie Creamery for its half fat cheese and to Leicestershire’s Tuxford & Tebbett Creamery for its Stilton.
Taw Valley mature cheddar won Silver as did Reece’s Cheshire cheese, Tuxford & Tebbett’s Stilton and Lockerbie’s unsalted butter.
Commenting on the results, Neil Kennedy, Milk Link Chief Executive said, “These excellent results reflect the skill and dedication of Milk Link’s cheese makers in delivering exceptional taste and quality of our products.”
