Meadow Foods will be increasing its milk price by 1.5ppl from April
Meadow Foods has announced that it will be increasing its milk price by 1.5ppl from 1st April 2022, taking its standard litre milk price rise to 36.5ppl, an equivalent manufacturing litre will be 37.13 ppl. This is a record level for Meadow Foods.
Jim Bebb, Supply Chain Director at Meadow Foods, comments: “We’re delighted to be able to announce this latest price increase. We understand that our producers continue to face huge inflationary costs on farm. However, with more potential positivity in the milk market we hope that this will translate into further improvements in the milk price. We will endeavour to return improved prices to our producers as soon as possible to further relieve these pressures.”
This follows announcements from Muller,Barbers,Wyke Farms and Saputo who have all increased their milk prices for April.
