Meadow Foods announces increase in milk price by 1ppl from 1st October
Meadow Foods has announced that it will be increasing its milk price by 1ppl from 1st October 2022, taking its standard litre milk price rise to 48ppl, an equivalent manufacturing litre will be 48.625 ppl. This rise maintains Meadow Foods’ industry-leading position and means the business has increased its milk price by 18pence this year alone.
Jim Bebb, Supply Chain Director at Meadow Foods, comments: “We are pleased to pass back a further increase to our producers following continued price improvements in the market. As always, we continue to monitor the market and milk volumes closely, to ensure we deliver a competitive and sustainable milk price in the long term.”
