Joe Banks joins ForFarmers in South West

Joining ForFarmers as a ruminant account manager, Devon-based Joe Banks brings a wealth of experience in his recent appointment which will see him work across the South West.

Having previously worked in the feed sector, Joe took a step away from the feed sales in a move to pursue his interest in on-farm automation and robotics, working at Lely Centre Holsworthy.

Joe comes with a diploma in ruminant nutrition from Harper Adams University and keen to forge long-term relations in his new role, urges farmers to make contact if they have feed requirements.

Joe said: "I have spent most of my working life in the feed sector and have held a range of roles over time. I am pleased to return to what I know, and where I feel comfortable and can help to make impactful changes on-farm.

"I was attracted to the role with ForFarmers due to the company's reputation for technical innovation. It is a very focused, professional business and has a huge amount to offer its customers."

ForFarmers' South Wales and West Sales Team Manager, Ben Trott, was delighted to welcome Joe to his regional team.

He said: "We are really pleased to have Joe on-board. His knowledge and experience of the industry will be a great asset to the business.

"Joe is well-placed to work with all ruminant systems and will be mainly based in mid and north Devon, with contacts across the South West."

Away from work, Joe enjoys being in the countryside, working his three spaniels or mountain biking, as well as spending time with his young family.
