First Milk has today announced that its member milk price for October 2020 will be held at the current level. This means its liquid standard litre will remain at 27.25ppl, whilst its manufacturing standard litre will remain at 28.15ppl, both including its member premium.
Commenting on the announcement, Robert Craig, farmer director and vice-chairman, said:
“There are many factors that may impact on dairy market returns in the months ahead, including the uncertainty around COVID-19 and Brexit. We will continue to do all we can to deliver stability for our members.”
