Following its cancellation last year, we are pleased to announce that we will be once again holding our biannual in-house field day, Amatechnica, at Orchard Farm on May 25^th 2022.

We would be delighted if you could join us at the event to take part in what we hope will be a fascinating and educational day.

The format of the day will be open-house from 12 pm and the theme of the event this year is ‘Love your Soil’, meaning the emphasis will be very much on promoting soil health and how we can increase soil biology, improve biodiversity, soil structure and help develop soil resilience.

Customers will be able to see a plethora of kit working in the field - including the launch of some brand new stuff ahead of Cereals.

And, along with more than 20 acres of working demonstrations, there will also be guided tours of our cover crop trials, practical demonstrations on how to assess soil structure and we will be drilling a crop of maize with the Precea live on the day. In-doors, there will be on-going seminar sessions from industry experts to help guide customers through the legislative and technical maze of arable farming in 2022.

Ancillary businesses to ours will also be on-hand to offer expert advice on nozzle choice, tyre selection, finance, fertiliser and agrochemicals, etc.

Refreshments will be served all day and, later in the day, the focus will move on to being of a more sociable nature.

The open-house format will allow you to come and spend as much or as little time as you can spare at the event and doesn’t hold you to a strict timetable.
