Win tickets to Cereals 2012
Yellow rust has been the big headline disease of the past two seasons. We've seen new races come in and completely turn on its head our understanding of varietal resistance. This has taken place in years of remarkably little disease overall, so the implications for rust in a more normal year are worrying.
But just how much do we know about the disease? Is the threat being taken seriously enough? Have adequate management practices been taken so far? And do the control strategies being considered for the rest of the season look suitable?
In search of answers, CPM has teamed up with Syngenta to run a survey of some of the best growers in the country. Were looking for your views, concerns for this key disease, understanding of it and agronomy practices you've adopted. Well then run these overall findings by technical experts and provide some genuinely useful feedback for managing the disease.
Please take five minutes to complete this survey click here.
There are 20 pairs of FREE tickets to Cereals 2012* up for grabs. And it could help you gain the upper hand on a disease thats arguably one step ahead.
* Winners will be notified before 1 March, and will be listed on the CPM website after that date.
