Well known sheep industry name to manage activity in NSA Eastern Region
The Eastern Region of the National Sheep Association (NSA) is pleased to announce that experienced sheep industry expert Nerys Wright has joined the Association as Regional Manager.
Nerys takes on the role from previous NSA Eastern Region Manager Josh Brock who stepped down from the role at the end of last month.
Nerys joins NSA with a huge amount of knowledge and expertise in the sheep sector having grown up on a sheep and beef farm and working for several leading agricultural organisations. She now works as an independent sheep consultant. Through regular attendance at NSA national and regional events over the years Nerys comes into the role with a good understanding of NSA and has also previously been an active member of both NSA Eastern and South East Regional Committees.
Nerys comments: "After working in my previous job roles in industry and living in NSA Eastern Region for the past 11 years I am really looking forward to be working with NSA. I look forward to meeting many members over the next few months."
NSA Eastern Region Chairman Robert Spinks says: "I am excited to welcome Nerys into the role of Manager and look forward to working with her to deliver for our members within the region".
NSA Eastern Region includes the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Northampton and Suffolk. Regional activity within the region includes regular meeting, farm walks and visits and the annual NSA Eastern Region rams sales held at Rugby Farmers Market and Melton Mowbray Market.
