Weidemann: Change of Commercial Managing Director - Andrew Voigt succeeds Bernd Apfelbeck
Korbach, June 2026 Weidemann GmbH announces a change in its commercial management: After 20 years of successful service as Commercial Managing Director and Spokesperson of the Executive Board, Bernd Apfelbeck will retire on 30 June 2026. His successor, Andrew Voigt, assumed this role on 1 June 2026.
Bernd Apfelbeck joined the Wacker Neuson Group in 1998, initially as Head of Sales for the Munich region. In 2006, he was appointed Managing Director of Weidemann GmbH. Over the past two decades, he has played a decisive role in shaping the company’s development and guiding its growth. Under his leadership, the Weidemann brand has grown into one of Central Europe’s leading manufacturers of Hoftracs®, wheel loaders, tele wheel loaders and telehandlers, establishing itself as a trusted partner to agriculture, the equestrian sector, municipalities and many other industries.
A further cornerstone of the company’s success has been the development, production and distribution of wheel loaders and telehandlers for the Wacker Neuson brand, serving primarily the construction industry, as well as the gardening and landscaping sectors.
With his commitment, entrepreneurial skill and strong leadership, Bernd Apfelbeck was the face of Weidemann GmbH for many years. He successfully guided the company through numerous phases of expansion and challenge, always striving to combine innovation, reliability and quality.
On 1 June 2026, Andrew Voigt succeeded Bernd Apfelbeck. A long‑standing senior executive from within the Wacker Neuson Group, he now takes over as the commercial management of Weidemann GmbH. Andrew Voigt brings more than 20 years of international experience in the construction and agricultural machinery industry. He had served as Managing Director for the Wacker Neuson Group’s aftermarket business and global spare parts logistics since 2017. In that role, he already worked closely with Weidemann, helping to shape the further development of the aftermarket and spare parts strategy in collaboration with cross‑functional teams. With his many years of experience and comprehensive knowledge of the Group, Andrew Voigt is exceptionally well qualified to continue the successful development of Weidemann GmbH with the product brands Weidemann and Wacker Neuson.
The management team will henceforth consist of Andrew Voigt as Commercial Managing Director and Spokesperson of the Executive Board, Jens Harde as Managing Director Operations and Thomas Tilly as Technical Managing Director.
“We extend our heartfelt thanks to Bernd Apfelbeck for his many years of service to Weidemann GmbH and his great commitment within the Wacker Neuson Group. With his outstanding contribution, he has left a lasting mark on the company’s development. We wish him all the very best for this new chapter in his life and for his future. At the same time, we wish Andrew Voigt every success as he begins at Weidemann and in his new role,” said Alexander Greschner, Chief Sales Officer of the Wacker Neuson Group.
