UK tractor sales recover in October

The latest figures from the Agricultural Engineers Association show tractor registrations improved by 4.5% last month with 817 units going to work on UK farms. Compared to last year the overall tractor market is still down 11.6% from the 15,013 tractors over 50hp sold during 2009. The 2010 total so far is 12,230 units so it is hard to see registrations will breach the 13,800 tractor average for the past decade. But this things are heading the right direction. September there were 1,078 tractors registered which is a -7.6% difference compared to 2009.
