As anticipated, UK registrations of agricultural tractors (over 50hp) slowed down in February, relative to the same month last year.

Figures from the AEA showed 584 units of tractors (50hp and above) were registered - almost 6% down year on year and represented the lowest monthly total since December 2016.

Nevertheless, the monthly total was still higher than in February 2016, following good growth this time last year. The number of tractors registered in the first two months of the year remained 2% higher than a year before with year to date at 1,282 Units.
