Two of three NFU chiefs retain positions in elections
The NFU election, which took place at the end of the NFU conference held this week in Birmingham, saw president Peter Kendall and deputy president Meurig Raymond reain their positions.

Following the announcement that he would remain president for another two years, Mr Kendall said he felt enormously privileged. He pledged to keep food production high on the agenda.
Mr Quinney, who operates a mixed farm, a large part of which is tenanted,admitted he had only decided to stand shortly before the window closed. He said he was “Really, really pleased and slightly shocked” at the election result.
