Trelleborg Tyres, a global tyre industry leader, is excited to announce its collaboration with Moreton Morrel College. This partnership aims to equip AGCO apprentices across the UK with essential tyre knowledge.

AGCO, a key strategic partner of Trelleborg Tyres, is integral to this initiative. The collaboration reinforces AGCO's innovative approach in agriculture and actively promotes Trelleborg Tyres' commitment to fostering skilled professionals.

Under the guidance of Trelleborg Tyres' experts, Bruce Lauder, Sales Director, and Jimmy Jones, Technical Manager, AGCO apprentices joined an intensive one-day course spanning from tyre basics, correct tyre choice, soil protection, to tyre inflation systems, track construction and markings, tyre alignment, issue identification and tyre fitting.

The apprentices also had the opportunity to apply their classroom learnings in practical scenarios, which deepened their understanding and expertise.

"This collaboration reflects our unwavering commitment to nurturing future agricultural professionals," added Bruce Lauder, Sales Director at Yokohama TWS UK. "By providing AGCO apprentices with comprehensive tyre knowledge, we enable them to make informed decisions and contribute significantly to the advancement of the agricultural sector."

Moreton Morrel College, renowned for its excellence in agricultural education, warmly embraced this collaboration as a valuable addition to its curriculum. Andy Southerton, Lecturer in Land Based Engineering at Moreton Morrell College commented: "Our partnership with Trelleborg Tyres enhances our dedication to delivering practical, industry-relevant training. We are thrilled to offer AGCO apprentices access to Trelleborg Tyres' expertise, preparing them for successful  careers in agriculture."

The course concluded with a quiz to assess knowledge retention. The winner will receive a pair of Trelleborg Tyres branded Wellington boots featuring the ProgressiveTraction pattern on the sole, symbolizing Trelleborg Tyres' commitment to innovation and excellence.

This educational initiative is a part of "Trelleborg Tyres on Tour," an initiative by Trelleborg Tyres designed to connect more closely with customers and end users.

"Trelleborg Tyres on Tour" aims to provide ongoing support and engagement, ensuring continuous knowledge sharing for both current and future generations of agricultural professionals.
