Only 586 tractors were registered during May which represents a whopping 41.9% drop compared to May 2019. Sales to date have seen a 26.5% drop compared to the first five months of 2019.

Covid 19 has caused the closure of manufacturing and sales companies over the last two months although firms such a JCB and New Holland have now re-started production albeit at a reduced level with strict safety measures in place.

There may also be delays in processing registrations at DVLA due to coronavirus.
