HGCA is seeking committed individuals to fill vacancies on its Recommended List Crop Committees for oilseed rape, barley & oats and wheat.

The Crop Committees play a crucial role in producing the HGCA Recommended List (RL) by examining trial results and making variety recommendations to the main RL project board. The three open positions are:

• Agronomist vacancy for Oilseed Rape Committee
• Oats miller vacancy for Barley & Oats Crop Committee
• Commercial grain trader vacancy for the Wheat Crop Committee

Candidates should have specific knowledge of the crop sector they wish to represent and be able to attend three Committee meetings every year. Committee members are fully supported by HGCA staff and have all the information needed to make fair decisions about variety selection. In addition, appointments to the Committees are for a three-year term.
