Suffolk farmer Ed Walsh wins Fantasy Futures League
Farming Online member and Suffolk farmer Ed Walsh has won the Bayer sponsored Fantasy Futures League for Autumn/Winter 2010 with a profit of over £290,000. A prize of an iPod shuffle will be awarded to Ed.
A new league will commence at the end of January 2011. All trades from the autumn/winter league will be analysed to identify any trading techniques which we will report on.
A number of improvements are in the pipeline such as daily reports on the long/short opening split (which provides an indication on which way traders believe the price of wheat is heading).
We will also closely examine all current trades to ensure there are no advantages gained from any form of arbitrage, so each future league will be more difficult than its predecessor.
