Stolen machinery seized on Crown Farm

Various machinery worth £80,000 has been recovered on a tenanted farm in Moray.


Police have recovered £80,000 worth of stolen agricultural machinery from a farm Crown Estate  tenant farm in Moray.

 

The equipment, which had been reported as stolen, included tractors, trailers and bale shredders. 


Three men, aged 55, 38 and 37, have been charged. 


Police constable Peter Campbell, of the Community Investigation Team in Moray, said: "A large number of tools, equipment, machinery and vehicles that had previously been reported stolen were discovered.


“I would ask that any suspicious behaviour or suspicious vehicles be reported to police as soon as possible.”
