Chair of NFU Cymru’s Less Favoured Areas Board, John Owen, has called on wool producers to sell their produce within the British Wool Marketing Board, claiming wool sold outside the auction system reduces its value for all producers.

 Mr Owen said, “There is huge potential for wool as a natural and sustainable product but we need commitment from producers to support the board so that it can promote, market and sell our wool in order to achieve the best possible price.”
