Visitors should prepare for a groundbreaking showcase of Scottish agricultural innovation at the inaugural Future Farming Expo Scotland. Set to redefine Scotland's agricultural show scene, the event is free to attend and will take place on 10-11 October at Aberdeen's renowned P&J Live venue.
Exhibiting the future of agriculture
The Future Farming Expo Scotland seeks to give farmers practical advice to meet the evolving needs of modern farming while flagging opportunities for growth. The first-of-its-kind event for Scotland will feature a roster of cutting-edge organisations at the vanguard of agricultural innovation.
Alongside a stellar line up of speakers and contributors, a variety of organisations will exhibit, including:

Have your say on Scottish Government Agricultural Reform Programme
The Scottish Government stand at the Future Farming Expo will be staffed by agriculturalists ready to talk to farmers and crofters about what they can do to prepare for changing agricultural support.
They will provide information on the support available and will also be inviting visitors to the stand to have their say and shape how support is delivered by registering to participate in research, including interviews, surveys, workshops, testing and trials.
Future Energy Integrations Conference
The Future Farming Expo will also host the Future Energy Integrations Conference, joining forces with two influential organisations: UK Urban AgriTech (UKUAT) and FarmTech Society. This partnership brings together the UK's leading authority on urban agriculture and a global non-profit association focused on Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA). Together, they are co-locating a conference, with this collaboration representing a significant milestone in advancing sustainable farming practices, driving innovation, and ensuring the resilience of our food systems.
High-profile speakers and insightful debate
During the event, panels of expert speakers will cover topics across eight 'knowledge hubs' chosen to spark engaging discussion and provide practical solutions for farmers dealing with the challenges of creating profitable, sustainable businesses. The knowledge hubs are: Business and Personal Resilience; Carbon and Soils; Arable; Livestock; Renewables and Energy; Diversification; Horticulture and Vertical Farming; and Robotics.
Cheryl Waterman, Event Producer, Future Farming Expo, explains:
"We are delighted to have such a diverse range of organisations attending the Future Farming Expo, many of which are leaders in their fields and helping propel Scottish agriculture into the future.
"We have designed this event with an enormous input from Scotland's farming community, meaning that attendees will go home armed with practical advice and inspiration for implementing positive changes on-farm."
