“With farmers facing uncertainty in so many aspects of their businesses at the moment, I am pleased that we can give our suppliers the confidence that they will start the New Year continuing to receive a competitive price for their milk,” said Alexa Parker, Head of Milk Procurement. “Our priority, as always, is to offer our farmers a stable and competitive milk price over the long term.”
Stephen Bone, Chairman of DCD, commented, “I am pleased that SDUK has responded to our concerns about inflationary pressures on farm with a significant price increase for January. It is much needed and will be welcomed by our members.”
