Saputo Dairy UK announces a milk price increase

Saputo Dairy UK (SDUK) today announces that it will increase the milk price it pays to its Davidstow farmers to 29.15ppl* from 1 October 2020. This has been agreed upon with Dairy Crest Direct (DCD).

“We are pleased that we have been able to provide our farmers with some much-needed stability throughout the coronavirus crisis, having kept our milk price unchanged since March,” said Chris Thomson, Group Procurement Director at Saputo Dairy UK. “Our farmers have been incredibly supportive as we adjusted our way of working to ensure their safety and that of our employees. We always want to pay our farmers a market-leading price for their milk which is why we are increasing our price for October.”
