Roseanna Cunningham replaces Lochhead

Roseanna Cunningham has taken over the environment brief from Richard Lochhead in first minister Nicola Sturgeon's cabinet reshuffle.

In a reshuffle that saw a number of roles change hands, Perthshire South MSP Roseanna Cunningham has been awarded the environment portfolio after Richard Lochhead, who had held the post for nine years, stepped down on Tuesday.

Cunningham previously served as work and training secretary, and has prior experience from a two-year period as environment minister.
