“Our first ‘Reaching Net Zero in Agriculture’ webinar was a great success, and we had fantastic engagement.

“The expert panel tackled a considerable number of questions on issues including carbon measurement and storage, policy requirements, and the role of renewables. The polls carried out highlighted the appetite from farmers to decarbonise the agricultural sector, with 64.9% of those who voted stating that they are planning to invest in electric or bio-fuelled vehicles or machinery and 85.7% declaring that they think net zero by 2040 is possible, as is stated in the NFU’s ‘Achieving Net Zero’ ambitions,” says David Jacobmeyer, Low Carbon Agriculture Show’s organiser and webinar host.

Digital Insights are hosted by Low Carbon Agriculture Show, which takes place on March 9 and 10, 2021 at the National Agriculture and Exhibition Centre (NAEC), Stoneleigh.

Formerly Energy and Rural Business Show, the event has rebranded, relocated and reasserted its focus to ensure that practical solutions to tackling climate change through the generation of renewable energy, the implementation of low carbon initiatives and best practice in both environmental and carbon management, take centre stage.
