Register of Sheep Advisers attracts well respected names to launch its service

Providing the opportunity for new members of the Register of Sheep Advisers (RoSA) to claim their first valuable cpd points a webinar this evening (Tuesday 1st June) will mark the exciting launch of the new professional register for sheep consultants in the UK.
 
RoSA aims to recognise personal development and training for advisers, so they can continue to support UK sheep farmers in accessing the best and most appropriate advice to meet their business needs. It will officially open on Tuesday 1st June for new members to join and begin collecting evidence as testimony of their experience and ability.
 
At the launch technical webinar this evening RoSA will welcome respected independent consultants Lesley Stubbings, Pete Bone and Liz Genever discussing how to maintain post-weaning performance for lambs. It is hoped this webinar and others organised by industry will be welcomed as a valuable source of training and updates for those seeking to keep their technical knowledge high and of current relevance.
 
As the UK sheep sector faces a huge period of change the provision of up to date, reliable advice from professionals across the industry will likely be increasingly sought as an even more important aspect of many sheep farming businesses. RoSA therefore will pull together advisers from all areas of the sheep industry, such as nutritionists, vets, RAMAs, environmental advisers, farm consultants and technical specialists who can all provide comprehensive advice to farmers on all aspects of sheep production.
 
RoSA membership will allow all advisers working within the UK sheep sector the opportunity to demonstrate that they have comprehensive knowledge across all aspects of sheep production and signifies a commitment to professional development through structured CPD.
