ProCam welcomes new agronomist to its Leominster team
Pryse has worked as an agronomist for another national crop protection distributor since he was taken on as a trainee agronomist in 2009. After a spell in Oxfordshire he is now based back in his home county of Herefordshire from where he will provide specialised agronomic advice for a range of arable and non-arable crops including the mainstay combinables as well as grassland, potatoes and maize. His new ProCam region will cover the counties of Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Shropshire.
“I’m thrilled to be joining such a well-regarded, friendly and knowledgeable team of crop protection specialists,” Pryse says, “and look forward to providing sound technical advice to farmers in my region.
“In addition to helping farmers produce healthier, higher yielding crops, I’m also looking forward to providing bespoke crop protection and nutritional advice which will enable growers to protect their gross margins by keeping cropping costs to a sensible and sustainable level.”
“We’re delighted to welcome Pryse to the ProCam team,” explains Diane Heath, ProCam’s UK Managing Director. “He joins us at a time when farm margins are under increasing pressure from rising fuel and fertiliser costs and when access to innovative crop protection advice is more important than ever.
“Pryse’s knowledge and experience makes him ideally positioned to offer this support and as such he will be a huge asset to ProCam’s team in the west.”
