ProCam appoints new finance director

Leading agronomy firm ProCam has appointed Jane Perkins as the company’s new Finance Director.

Jane, an ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) chartered certified accountant and graduate of the University of Liverpool (BSc Hons., Biochemistry), will work as part of ProCam’s senior leadership team to enhance the business’s financial insight and develop strategy that leads the company into greater success in the future.

“It is an interesting and challenging time to join the crop protection and agronomy sector,” Jane says, “but I am looking forward to helping modernise ProCam’s financial processes, streamlining its data capture protocols, and enhancing the company’s understanding of its key performance indicators so that it is better prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. I’m also excited to work towards the better management of ProCam’s working capital to optimise its business potential and ensure it’s well positioned for future growth.”

Prior to joining ProCam, Jane held senior finance manager, finance director and chief financial officer roles within a range of companies where she was responsible for a variety of critical functions including strategic business transformation, ERP (enterprise resource planning) implementation, company acquisitions and integrations, and the improvement of financial controls, processes and systems.

“I’m exceptionally pleased to welcome Jane to the ProCam team,” explains Alex Collingwood, ProCam’s Managing Director. “With a comprehensive understanding of the food and agriculture sector, and a wealth of financial management experience from other spheres of industry, Jane is ideally placed to help take ProCam forwards into a bright future.

“I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank Jane’s predecessor, Iain Muir, for his unwavering commitment to ProCam during his tenure. Iain will be missed by everyone within ProCam’s senior leadership team, and we wish him every success, happiness and good health for the future.”
