Agrovista UK Limited, one of the country`s leading crop protection, amenity and agronomy companies and Openfield, Britain`s leading farmer owned grain marketing and arable inputs business have announced a strategic alliance to serve all parts of the UK market.

This development will see the bringing together of the seed supply, fertiliser, and end-market knowledge and experience of Openfield with the agronomic expertise and technical innovation of Agrovista.

Under the new alliance, the two organisations say they will maintain their own core functions, but combine their complementary strengths, which they say will allow them to work together to provide the ultimate, independent inputs service to growers.

The two will establish joint trials and share information, which they hope will provide a clearer focus for product R&D and market delivery.
