The oilseed rape area submitted to the annual Harvest Results free benchmarking service is the highest for 4 years with 31,500acres so far from 29 different varieties.  This provides circa an average of 1000ac field acres submitted per variety on display, providing valuable information prior to OSR sowing.

Variety yield averages are only displayed once at  least two different results have been received from a minimum of two different growers.

Overall oilseed rape yields are 0.84t/Ha below 2011.  The Harvest Results shows individual variety yields & area over time since 2008 so you can determine which oilseed varieties are increasingly being sown.
