Grounded Agronomy strengthens support for growers
Well-known arable specialist Eric Anderson has joined Grounded Agronomy as Director and Principal Agricultural Adviser. The move will see him work alongside Zach Reilly and Juaad Al-Saffar to support potato and combinable crop growers across Tayside, Scotland and globally.
Eric said the move was “a compelling opportunity to join an organisation with the ambition, independence and practical focus growers need”. He said it would enable him to “give growers the considered advice needed to meet the challenges ahead”.
“I’m proud to be joining Zach and Juaad, two motivated and committed individuals with whom I enjoy strong and productive working relationships. Together, we believe we have the balance of skills needed to help growers maximise their potential against the production and financial pressures facing the industry,” he said.
BASIS and FACTS qualified, Juaad Al-Saffar also recently joined Grounded Agronomy as an Agricultural Adviser. He will focus on delivering cereal and potato agronomy, alongside financial services to clients utilising his project accountancy skills.
“Juaad’s role is to work alongside the existing team to help growers make sense of agronomic and cost pressures, turning them into clear advice they can use on farm. It is part of our commitment to applied, independent guidance that helps growers improve crops, protect margins and build stronger businesses,” Eric added.
