“Fendt & Valtra are very pleased to announce that they are the main sponsors of the new content theatre at LAMMA May 2022, bringing the latest industry knowledge straight to the LAMMA audience", says Ed Dennett of Fendt and Sarah Howarth of Valtra.

ISBOBUS capable equipment

With visitors able to drop in for updates on the latest industry developments and issues, the zone will include speakers from FarmPlan and ARGO, as experts discuss how farmers can better integrate data in their working practices to ensure systems can effectively ‘talk’.

Ben Agar, business development director at ARGO Tractors, says: “I am looking forward to addressing how investment into ISBOBUS capable equipment may help to address the frustrations many farmers have around connectivity.

“It will be a great opportunity to break down how ISBOBUS works to ask: what is the next step in machinery connectivity.”

Safeguarding farms advice

Providing visitors with actionable advice around preventing rural crime, leaders from NFU Mutual, the National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service (NaVCIS) and the West Midlands Regional Cyber Crime Unit will also be on-hand to help farmers understand how they can safeguard their farms.

Detective Sergeant Edward Trimbee, head of the regional cyber crime unit, highlights the session will provide an ‘much-needed insight into the cybercrime threats facing the UK’, as well as a breakdown of the support agricultural businesses can receive from law enforcement.

The speaker zone will also breathe new life into the conversation around careers in agriculture, with speakers from organisations such as AGCO, helping to hone in on the diversity of opportunities available within the sector.

Apprenticeships

Through case studies and practical advice from AGCO’s Charlie Rollason, aftersales training business development manager, the zone will shine a light on the faces of agriculture today and present the exciting options available as part of AGCO’s dynamic apprenticeship scheme.

From GSB Machinery’s grassland subsoiler to JF Hudson’s compact front box, this zone’s ‘LAMMA showcase’ will also see exhibitors focus on a range of their latest product developments.
