New Chair Nigel Savory joined the Board of Anglia Farmers (AF) at today’s Board meeting (Thursday 31 March).
 
Nigel is a chartered accountant with decades of experience working in the agricultural industry.  He is a partner in his family farm near Fakenham in north Norfolk and has been an AF member for more than 10 years. With more than 3,000 farmer members nationwide, AF is the UK’s largest agricultural purchasing group.
 
Nigel takes over from interim chair George Bell.
 
Nigel said, “This is a fantastic organisation. Since it formed from the merger of Loddon and Mid Norfolk Farmers it has grown and grown into the national business which it is today.

“The key element of AF’s success is its service to its members and my decades working in business services mean that I understand the need to provide the best possible customer care and support.”
