Natalie Wood steps into new Product Manager role at Yara UK

Natalie Wood has stepped into a new role at Yara UK. Formerly Arable Crop Nutrition Agronomist for the UK and Ireland, Natalie has now accepted a position as Product Manager for YaraVita and Biologicals, the foliar and biostimulant segment of the business.

As part of her new role, Natalie will be a spokesperson for Yara's foliar and biostimulant products, working closely with distributors, engaging with farmers, and ensuring any technical product information is up to date. The role is also pivotal in ensuring product sales targets are met, and a key part of Natalie's remit will be developing the strategy for the sales and marketing of the YaraVita and YaraAmplix product ranges.

A biology graduate, Natalie previously worked for the trials company Eurofins, specialising in herbicide trials before accepting a role at Yara organising internal trials. After a decade at Yara and working her way up to becoming the business' arable agronomist for the UK and Ireland, Natalie is looking forward to a new challenge. "Working more in the commercial side of the business is a new and exciting opportunity for me. I've always had a technical, knowledge orientated role whereas now I'll be combining that with utilising more of the internal systems as well as having the responsibility of managing product sales targets across the given product range. This will give me a much deeper insight into the business," says Natalie.

She is also looking forward to working with her counterparts on the continent. "This role will be varied and interesting as there's a great opportunity to speak to colleagues in Germany, France, and Eastern Europe as well as further afield, learn from what they have done, and think about what I can bring to the UK," she adds.

Natalie comes into her new role at an exciting time for the business. Yara is currently building the biggest micronutrients manufacturing facility globally at Howden, Yorkshire, a stone's throw from its existing site in Pocklington.
