Mitas launches new AGRITERRA 02 SP for Brazilian market at Agrishow 2023

The recently globally launched AGRITERRA 02 SP (Soil Protector) tire, is now also available in Brazil and will be the main attraction at the Mitas Booth #E8B at the upcoming 28th Brazilian Agrishow, from May 1 to 5, 2023 in Ribeirão Preto, San Paolo. Designed for modern agricultural trucks, high-speed trailers, spreaders and tank containers, this radial tire features Very High Flexion (VF) technology made for handling greater load capacity of up to 40% while reducing soil compaction.

The AGRITERRA 02 SP is the first tire in the AGRITERRA range to feature this advanced technology. This tire is able to perform at lower inflation pressure, thereby expanding its footprint while improving traction, ground protection and crop yields. It also has excellent self-cleaning capabilities and longer tire life due to its construction with hexa-core technology and steel breakers under the tread.

Fábio Metidieri, Sales Director for Agriculture at Trelleborg Wheel Systems South America, states “Our new AGRITERRA 02 SP was made considering the local conditions and agricultural based on sugarcane production. The new tire mainly supports sugarcane trucks that must transfer up to several tons of sugarcane during the day, which requires durable and reliable tires. To support local farmers in their daily work including everyday challenges in and out of the field, the AGRITERRA 02 SP maximizes the protection of farmer’s soil even handling really demanding conditions.”

In addition to the newest Mitas tire, the Mitas booth #E8B will also feature agricultural tires proven by the South American market, including the AGRITERRA 04 and the HC 3000 The HC 3000 range with the advanced Cyclical Field Operation (CFO) technology, is very popular in Brazilian agriculture, especially for cotton pickers, combine harvesters and tractors. The AGRITERRA 04 tire has been designed for non-driven wheels to support high load capacity for a wide range of agricultural vehicles and is widely used in Brazil in implements offering gentle ground handling and low noise emission, rolling resistance and fuel consumption.
