Miscanthus farm walks this autumn to show how the crop can benefit your business

Miscanthus is a perennial grass, that grows up to 12 feet high and has the potential to yield 15 tonnes per hectare, which can give the farmer a return of over £900 per hectare from mature yield.

If you’re interested in finding out how the crop could benefit your farm business, don’t miss the upcoming Miscanthus Farm walks.

Free of charge, the walks are designed to show farmers everything that’s involved with growing Miscanthus.

The walks are hosted on a farm growing the crop, and run by Terravesta, the Miscanthus supply chain experts. At each event, the company presents on the life cycle of the crop then runs through spring planting and harvesting, the limited crop maintenance required, financial returns, and outlines the growing markets for it. There are chances to ask any burning questions you have at any point in the day.

There is always an opportunity to head out and look at a Miscanthus crop with the grower host, and a chance to mingle and speak to the Terravesta team about how Miscanthus could fit into your business model.

Spaces are limited so book on today by visiting the Terravesta homepage or contact Jacob Duce, E:  jacobd@terravesta.com T: 01522 731873.
