Milk Link Boosts Member Milk Price
Milk Link is to increase its Member milk price from today by 1.0 pence per litre (ppl) for both manufacturing and liquid schedules. The latest increase means that Milk Link’s standard litre Member price for both manufacturing and liquid milk will now be 28.00ppl.
Commenting on the announcement, Neil Kennedy, Milk Link Chief Executive said: “The milk price increase reflects strong on-going returns from the commodities markets, enhanced operational efficiencies and improved returns from the liquid market. It will provide a much needed boost to our Members’ farm incomes at a time when they are under considerable financial pressure due to the continuing high cost of feed, fuel and fertiliser and the requirement to invest on farm to meet new environmental legislation.”
