Meadow Foods Increases Its November Milk Price
Meadow Foods has announced that it will be increasing its milk price by a further 1ppl from 1st November for all producers. The announcement means that all producers will see their standard A litre milk price rise to 27ppl. All changes will apply to the flat rate element on the price schedule.
The announcement is the fourth consecutive rise for farmers and reflects the company’s commitment to return any improvements in the market back to its supplying farmers as soon as possible.
Mark Chantler, Chief Executive of Meadow Foods, comments: “We promised that as soon as we were able to achieve better prices, we would pass the benefit back to our producers and we are pleased to do that. We continue to closely monitor the dairy markets as there remains a great deal of uncertainty not least due to the continuing impact of Covid-19 and the possibility of further disruption following our departure from the EU.”
