Lords to debate Brexit impacts on farmers
Members of the Lords, including the current and former ministerial spokespersons for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the vice-president of the CMP Wildlife & Countryside Link, will ask the government what assessment they have made of the impact on British farmers of the decision to leave the European Union, in the House of Lords on Thursday 21 July.
The debate was called by Conservative Baroness Anne McIntosh, a former shadow minister for environment, food and rural affairs and former chair of the EFRA Committee, which oversees Defra’s work.
