Livestock Event 2015 stand space schedule launched online

The stand space schedule for Livestock Event 2015, the sector’s largest business to business event to be held at The NEC, Birmingham on Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 July, will be launched online on Friday 17 October by its organiser, RABDF Events Ltd. Applications to book stand space submitted prior to 31 December will be able to take advantage of the early booking incentive and secure optimum stand position.

“Response to the 2014 Livestock Event which attracted over 450 trade stands and a record 17,000 visitors presents a great springboard to go forward,” comments event director, Matt Knight. “76% of exhibitors were satisfied with the number of enquiries they received, whilst 91% were pleased with the quality of those enquiries which came from a profile of visitors of whom 80% were involved in decision making on the farm. Almost 70% of those enquiries were regarding dairy products.

“From a visitor perspective, over 90% rated the event as good to excellent, a figure which has been consistent for the last five years. In fact 86% of this year’s visitors said they planned to attend the 2015 event, indicating that the July date is preferred by the event’s progressive farmer audience who are focused on forward planning their businesses, for the forthcoming season and beyond,” he says. “Interest from international visitors continues; whilst representatives from 23 different countries attended the event we plan to continue to build that audience and exploit The NEC’s location providing easy access by air, rail and road.”

He adds: “The event which was established in 1876 has since broadened its scope, however dairy continues to remain at its heart with 97% of exhibitors offering product and services to dairy farmers. They along with other livestock farmers are able to enjoy the event’s legacy – RABDF Events ploughs any surplus back in to RABDF which continues to work for and support British Dairy Farmers.”

Barclays national agricultural specialist, Oliver McEntyre comments: “Barclays Agriculture is proud to be principal sponsor of the event for the sixth successive year which is a key demonstration of our support to UK agriculture and specifically to the livestock sector. Livestock Event is a vibrant show which enables innovation and best practice ideas to be demonstrated and shared - vital to a fast moving industry in a modern world. We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand throughout the two day event."
