Farmers will have the opportunity to have their say at two new industry forums hosted by Barclays at the Livestock Event, held at The NEC on Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 July.
 
Dairy will be in the spotlight on day one, with speakers RABDF’s Ian Macalpine, NFU’s Rob Harrison, AHDB Dairy’s Duncan Pullar and FFA’s David Handley, whilst the following day, the beef and sheep sectors will be the focus of the Livestock Farming Forum. Speakers will be TFA’s Stephen Wyrill, NSA’s Phil Stocker, NBA’s Chris Mallon and NFU’s Minette Batters.
 
Both Forums have been organised by Barclays and RABDF and will be chaired by Barclays agricultural specialist, Oliver McEntyre.
 
RABDF chief executive, Nick Everington commented: “We are pleased to be able to add to the event, two forums which will provide dairy, beef and sheep farmers with the opportunity to express their views on current hot topics, and in return hear industry influencers’ responses.”
