Livestock Event: free visitor entry

All farmers in the sector will be able to visit the Livestock Event free of charge.

Event organiser, RABDF has announced open doors at The NEC, Birmingham on 6 and 7 July, to all farmers together with their families and staff, farm contractors, vets, consultants and the supply trade.

“RABDF’s contribution to help dairy farmers during the major down turn in global milk price with a free ticket to the event in 2015, was an undoubted success pulling in 400 trade stands and over 16,000 visitors, a response similar to the previous year despite the fact at least £800m had been wiped off dairy farming incomes during that period,” comments Livestock Event director, Matt Knight.

“Without doubt, 2016 is set to be a tough year for all livestock farmers which has led us to extend the free offer to an event which has a sharp focus on cost saving and exploiting own resources.

“We are working on delivering an event which will enable all our visitors to share information, ideas and no nonsense practical advice to help their businesses to survive the next 18 months; they will be able to investigate relevant products and concepts that will save money and keep on track, and discover from relevant practical and technical demonstrations, routes to further improve herd and flock efficiency. There will also be a chance to investigate the latest new products and innovation – to help them stay ahead of the game.”

RABDF advises on line pre-registration to avoid queuing.
