LAMMA 2026 set to deliver the UK’s biggest-ever showcase of farming innovation

The countdown is on for LAMMA 2026, and this edition is shaping up to be the most comprehensive showcase of agricultural innovation the UK has ever seen.

Taking place on 14-15 January 2026 at the NEC Birmingham, the show will bring together cutting-edge machinery, future-focused technology and the brightest minds in farming for two jam-packed days of insight, discovery and practical expertise.

This year marks a landmark moment as LAMMA joins forces with CropTec and Low Carbon Agriculture, creating a single powerhouse event designed to give farmers a complete view of what the future of food and farming looks like.

A new era of collaboration

For the first time, visitors will be able to move seamlessly between the UK's largest machinery show, the nation's leading arable knowledge hub and the only event dedicated entirely to climate-friendly agricultural practice. Whether it's next-generation combines, gene-edited crop innovation or the latest in renewable energy systems, the 2026 co-location promises a 360-degree view of the technologies shaping the farming landscape.

Event organisers say the move is designed to maximise value and minimise time away from the farm. Philippa Christer, Director of Events, explains that uniting the shows gives farmers access to innovations, insights and expertise across machinery, arable technology and carbon-reducing practices – all in one place.

"Farmers are navigating an extraordinary amount of change, and our aim with LAMMA 2026 is to create a space where they can step back, explore what's new and gather practical insight to support the year ahead.

"We know time is tight, so bringing LAMMA together with CropTec and Low Carbon Agriculture is about making the visit as useful and efficient as possible. By having machinery, technical developments and expert guidance under one roof, we're giving visitors the chance to compare options, ask questions and come away with ideas that genuinely help their businesses."

The show's theatres will run a full programme of talks covering technology, market trends and emerging practices. CropTec will bring its well-known arable expertise, while Low Carbon Agriculture will highlight approaches to sustainability and energy that are increasingly shaping on-farm decisions.

LAMMA's Demo Arena will also return, allowing visitors to see machinery working and speak directly with engineers and product specialists. For many, it's a valuable chance to compare equipment in real time before making investment choices

Plenty of new kit on hand

As ever, LAMMA will host an extensive line-up of machinery and technology from leading global brands and specialist manufacturers. From tractors and combines to implements, handling equipment and precision tools, visitors can expect a varied display that includes several UK debuts.

JCB Agriculture Managing Director John Smith said: "JCB is the largest machinery manufacturer in the UK, so LAMMA is the right place for us to effectively showcase the products we produce to support farming, commercial horticulture and other rural industries. The all-new JCB Fastrac 6000 Series - already an award-winner – will be centre-stage along with JCB's latest full-size and compact Loadall telescopic handlers, and a host of other materials handling solutions.

"LAMMA is held at the right time of year and provides a comfortable environment for having face-to-face conversations with existing and potential customers keen to explore what our latest highly productive machines have to offer."

Following a flurry of new tractor releases, Fendt will showcase the new 500 Gen4, 700 Gen7.1, 800 Gen5 and 1000 Gen4 series tractors. The latest Rotana baler and newly updated MY26 IDEAL combine will also be in tow.

Returning to LAMMA for the second year in a row, KUHN is also bringing their newest kit. The KARAN trailed sprayer range will be centre stage alongside the HIGHLANDER tine cultivator, the MULITI-LONGER 6157 and the MERGE MAXX 102 range.

Also making its UK debut is the Case IH Optum 440 – the largest of three new models of the range – alongside a new Puma and Farmall M tractor.

Headlining the New Holland stand will be the new T7 Standard Wheelbase tractor, joined by the W170D+ Forage Power wheel loader, the all-new high-horsepower T7 XD and new generation T5S.

Neil Macer, CNH Marketing Manager, said: "LAMMA is a great opportunity to bring our global brands Case IH and New Holland together under one roof and showcase the latest innovations we've developed to support farmers across the UK and Ireland.

"This year, we're unveiling a host of new products that push performance, comfort and productivity to the next level, all shaped by real customer needs. We're looking forward to meeting visitors, hearing directly from our customers and celebrating the energy and ingenuity that make LAMMA such a special event for the industry."

Lindsay Haddon, Advertising and Sales Promotion Manager for Massey Ferguson explains why they keep returning to LAMMA: "Massey Ferguson is delighted to be returning to the Lamma show with a further three-year commitment. As a manufacturer we see the importance of this event and the need to support the industry and the farming community. LAMMA is a vital sales and PR tool for our brand, giving us the chance to spend valuable time with customers and industry experts."

A one-stop shop for the whole industry

Across the combined shows, more than 700 exhibitors are expected, representing the full breadth of the UK's farming sectors. Visitors will find products and expertise tailored to arable, beef, sheep, dairy and mixed systems, with previous attendance stats showing strong representation from every major enterprise type.

Whether it's sourcing new kit, exploring efficiency gains, meeting suppliers or keeping ahead of policy and technology shifts, LAMMA 2026 offers a single destination for farm decision-makers to get ready for the year ahead.
