Kingshay launches bespoke, multi-platform training to enhance farm team skills

KINGSHAY, the leading dairy consultancy in the UK and part of VetPartners, has launched a bespoke training service.

Kingshay Hands On Training has been designed to improve essential skills and capabilities of farm teams and can be tailored to meet the needs of diverse farming businesses across the UK.

All sessions cover practical topics ranging from foot trimming and artificial insemination through to team building and management.

The training covers a comprehensive range of technical content, aimed at helping farm teams work smarter to achieve results.

Sarah Bolt, technical knowledge exchange manager at Kingshay, said: "Whether you're a farming business or agricultural company, Kingshay offers practical and engaging training sessions, available in-person or virtually.

"We can tailor workshops to meet specific needs of a business or individual, as well as provide ongoing support and CPD."

The sessions are headed by respected farm vet Michael Head, known as Spike, who has a nationwide reputation for providing farmer training.

A farm vet with a strong dairy focus in his career, he has an RCVS Certificate in Cattle Health and Production (CertCHP) and the Diploma of Bovine Reproduction (DBR).

He said: "This training service is a great opportunity for those working in farming and agricultural businesses to expand their knowledge and gain more technical hands-on experience.

"As well as practical skills, we also focus on how to improve communication and partnership between vets and farmers to improve on-farm outcomes such as productivity and efficiencies, and make sure everyone on-farm is closely aligned on your team's objectives."
