Interested in partnering for a new collaborative farmer-led, on-farm trials or experiments ADOPT award
Farming Online would like to hear from arable, or livestock producers interested in partnering with Farming Online for a new collaborative farmer-led, on-farm trials or experiments ADOPT award.
Farming Online have developed many free to market applications in multiple countries, providing arable and livestock producers with product treatment timing, pest and disease risk timing, and computer vision projects that detect grass ley stage and lateral flow test result interpretation.
Simon Bradley Director of Farming Online said ‘we have a number of innovative apps already in the market ranging from protecting the Great Barrier Reef in Australia to biostimulant treatment timing in France. Recently we developed a soil carbon release forecast following cultivation based on soil moisture, allowing producers for the first time to plan cultivation timing, minimising soil carbon losses’.
He added ‘we have a few digital ideas for potential projects to benefit producers, but we would welcome a discussion with anyone interested in undertaking research on their farm where the outcome benefits all farmers based in England either by saving costs or improving revenue.’
