HORSCH: Sustainable growth and strong innovative capacity
Sustainable growth and strong innovative capacity
HORSCH successfully closed the business year 2025 with a group turnover of 1.08 billion euros, and the company managed to maintain its turnover above the €1 billion mark for the third consecutive year and even achieved a moderate growth. Key factors contributing to this success include innovative technology, practical solutions, close co-operation with sales partners, steady market development and a close connection to final customers. The management places great importance on a company with stable financial results that can make targeted, modern investments in the future to secure its long-term prospects.
HORSCH employs around 3,500 people worldwide. All sites were developed further strategically, particularly in the sectors R & D, production and sales. Over the past five years, more than 150 million euros have also been invested worldwide in the expansion, modernisation, and infrastructure of the sites. This laid the structural foundations for ensuring stability and further growth in the long term.
Innovation as a growth driver
Digitalisation is a central pillar of our ongoing development and is consistently pushed across all sectors. It is an essential part of product innovation and development and plays a significant role in the business processes of the company.
Research and development are central pillars of the company’s strategy. The focus has always been on solutions that prove their worth in practical use and offer tangible benefits. New concepts consistently derive from practical requirements.
For example, HORSCH LEEB was awarded the DLG Silver Medal at the Agritechnica 2025 for its proactive BoomControl system. The award-winning solution represents forward-looking boom control and increases precision, efficiency and safety in the crop care sector.
In 2023, HORSCH entered the fertiliser application technology market with the Leeb Xeric and since then has gained valuable experience in this rapidly developing segment.
New products and innovations that highlight the company’s innovative capacity were showcased across all product ranges at the Agritechnica 2025. For HORSCH, the continuous further development of its machines is key to optimising their performance. A total of around 25 new products were presented. The Pronto 9 DC is a well-proven machine concept and was revised comprehensively and developed in line with the requirements of the market. The Leeb 9 LT expands the crop care segment, and the Maestro 12 TX enters the market with a new machine concept.
International Development
The company has further consolidated its market position internationally. The AgTec Centre opened in Minneapolis, USA, in 2025. This site serves as a permanent hub for North America, bringing together and spreading technical expertise, training and agronomic knowledge.
In Brazil, in recent years, our site was established where products are developed and manufactured for the local market. At the same time, the corresponding service and sales structures were put in place to develop further sales potential.
In Europe, encouraging results were achieved, particularly in Romania, Poland, Ukraine and the Baltic states. The German and French markets proved to be extremely resilient and remain of central importance to HORSCH.
Recent years have been marked by epidemics, supply chain issues and wars, and are increasingly shaped by geopolitical challenges. Currently, many farms are facing a sharp rise in costs, particularly for diesel and fertilisers, which are placing a significant financial burden on them. Given this situation, it is difficult at this point to predict how the situation will develop in the near future.
The Horsch and Leeb families are very proud of the flexibility, foresight, adaptability and creativity of their employees and partners. “Every single person is contributing to our success in these difficult times.”
“The business year 2025 shows that our clear focus on practicality, customer proximity, innovation and collaborative partnerships is the right approach. Our growth is not a short- term phenomenon but the result of consistent work on our products, our sites and our international structures. We intend to continue along this path in the future, together with our customers and partners.”
