New research findings from Sweden paint a worrying picture for the future, suggesting that higher concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere will inhibit plants’ ability to absorb nutrients. Furthermore, the findings suggest that current assumptions about the effects of CO2 on growing conditions may be oversimplifications.
