HGCA has added visits to two milling sites to its list of Meet the Processor events in 2014.

Aiming to help cereal growers get a commercial and practical insight into what happens to grain beyond the weighbridge, HGCA is looking to repeat the success of previous years’ programmes. With the addition of visits to Rank Hovis at Andover (12 March) and Manchester (25 March) the line-up of events for the spring of 2014 now includes five flour millers, a feed grain mill, and two maltsters. In addition seven visits to export facilities are planned in the accompanying Meet the Exporter programme.

HGCA stresses that, due to limited place availability, these events are for cereals growers only. Places are also on a first come, first served basis, and attendance is at the discretion of individual hosts.
